These
two 3D renderings were created in Alias Wavefront. Our art professor
asked us to pick a predesigned object, build the model as accurate
as possible. I chose a
neon water clock with no particular theme composition.
Placed in a simple room, I experimented with basic lighting,
texture maps, and transparency levels added for |

effect.
The second clock design is titled, "Space".
I wanted it's form to be fun and similar to a plant growing
out of the clock atop the marble steps. Ideally it should stand
at least 30 to 40 feet tall and dis- played outdoors as a sculpture.
Domed globes positioned at the clock's base serve as lights
that strike at each hour. |
